Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure (AAI) is the foundation to ease interactions between end users and service providers across organizations. AAI has to be built on commonly agreed protocols and trust framework to support secure and scalable access. From early 2000, the IGTF global trust framework and x.509-based AAI has been supporting internet-wide large-scale collaborations such as WLCG and many e-Science projects. Federated AAI to support various needs of broader scientific disciplines while enforcing complexity hiding from users and data protection has been emerging for open science. In this workshop, Nikhef AAI experts will share the latest development and experiences with Asia partners and assist us to catch up the new generation AAI.
